We operate the best bike hire fleet in Wales and it’s time for our annual sale of ex-hire bikes.
All bikes have been professionally maintained throughout the 2023 season and will have been lovingly cleaned and serviced after every single hire. Each ex-rental bike is well and truly pampered by the Drover Cycles team before being sold, so you can expect to receive a bike that is clean, mechanically sound and in full working order. Any worn-out or broken parts will be replaced. That includes, but isn’t limited to, chains, bottom brackets and brake pads. Cosmetic damage - scuffs and scrapes - is to be expected as these bikes have been ridden and enjoyed.
We are straightforward and honest in our descriptions and will highlight any excessive wear and tear - please check the listing for details before buying. Images show the average condition of bikes in a particular category. Optional extras and/or upgrades are available for some models.

After another successful season it’s time to sell on our fleet of high-quality rental bikes. For 2023 our
Premium E-Leisure bike has been the popular Moustache XRoad 5.
SERVICING:As usual we service these bikes diligently between hires and any components requiring
replacement are swapped out as necessary. Our replacement components are generally of higher
quality than the manufacturer’s spec so many of these bikes, for example, will have better bottom
brackets when sold than they came with originally. The same goes for chains, cables etc.
There is no longer any need to choose between an urban bike or an E-MTB. Why? Because there is the XRoad!!

On the Open version, the top tube is lowered offering good standover height for improved accessibility.
